So, you have chosen a date for your special day and now you need to find the perfect invitations to send to your friends and family. Whether you know exactly what you’re looking for, or you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by the occasion, we work with you to discover your exact requirements to create the perfect bespoke design that you will be truly proud of.
The bespoke design service has a fee ranging from £25 to £500 depending on your specific requirements. We create the designs for your invitation, RSVP, information card, and any additional items you may require for your invitation suite. The designs of your ‘On the Day’ stationery items - such as table plan, menu, order of service etc - are also included in the service, providing the same design theme is maintained. A separate fee may be applicable if additional illustrations are required, although this will be agreed with you in advance.
If you are interested in a bespoke design, please get in touch and include your ideas, inspirations and requirements, as well as any examples of themes/styles/colours/fonts you like. If you have a Pinterest board, feel free to add us as this is a great way to share your information with us.
We discuss your requirements with you, as well as helping you to decide which items you may need, and quantities. We can then give you a personalised quote for the design and production of your order, along with a timeline so you know when you will receive your printed stationery.
Once everything has been agreed, we ask that the design fee is paid to secure your booking in the design diary. We will contact you around a week prior to your booking to allow you to prepare your invitation text and gather any photographs if required. Once the work begins on your designs, we will email digital proof/s to you within a week. We ask for feedback on the designs, and we make changes according to your requirements. We do not limit the number of amendments you can make, and the design stage is not complete until you are 100% happy with your designs and feel ready to move to the printing stage.
At this point, you will be required to make the payment for the production costs. Your order will then go to print, and you will receive everything within 7 working days.
Every order is different but as a rough guide we advise the whole process can take between 3-6 weeks, from the design stage beginning, to you receiving your printed invitations.
If we are also designing your ‘On the Day’ stationery items, we will agree a suitable date with you to begin the design work. This is usually approximately 8 weeks prior to your wedding day, although the items will only go to print around 2 weeks before, just in case you require any late amendments to your seating arrangement.
